Now that Episode III is on DVD, it's time to work our pause buttons and check out all of the easter eggs in the movie.
Here are a few:
- During the space battle, when a blue laser beam lances out of the belly bay of a massive Republic Star Destroyer and splits a Banking Clan frigate in two, it unleashes a blossoming explosion with streaming debris. The camera pans along with one sizable chunk as it slams back into the Republic vessel. That is indeed a kitchen sink.
- At the opera house as Anakin runs up the carpeted staircase, one of the guests he passes is Dannl Faytonni, the human character first played by an unmasked Anthony Daniels in Episode II.
- In the background of the 10th Level, as Obi-Wan whistles for Boga to come and give chase to General Grievous, look in the background. A clone trooper has lost his rifle and is essentially boxing with a battle droid.

I read this story on BoingBoing.net but it seems strange that the US patent office would allow this. It's not like the Indiana man, Boris Volfson who filed the patent actually has made progress, it seems he just patented the idea. That's like me trying to patent a flying car just waiting to collect money once someone develops a working model. Here are other things that Boris might want to patent.
- A time machine
- A force field to prevent bombs
- An intergalactic spacecraft
- A diet pill that works
- A banjo that sounds good
- A teleportation device

The self proclaimed "King of all Media" is set to appear on David Letterman's show tonight. He'll discuss his move to Sirius radio and might have a few things planned.
Sirius is looking pretty good. I think I'll be getting it. XM has some nice shows too but there's more on Sirius that interests me. So far Sirius costs $15 to activate, $12.95 a month or for a lifetime of use, $499.

Wow, there are a lot of pretty even matches this time but I predict that Rich Franklin will win over Nate Quarry due to his experience. Nate won't give up easy so it should be a good fight. Matt is at a big reach disadvantage as the 5'8" Hughes goes up against the 6'0" Joe Riggs but his wrestling background should neutralize things early. If he can put Riggs away early that'll be his best shot, the longer it goes the lower his chances get but Hughes is a very smart fighter. I also predict wins for George St. Pierre and Jeremy Horn.
One annoying thing about the fight world is how they love to give nicknames to everyone. If you go to the official UFC fight page they have the fighter's nicknames below their pictures. I'm not sure if the fighters even are aware of their nicknames. Has anyone really called Rich Franklin, "Ace"?
