In a rare and cool move by a major record label, Universal Music Group has uploaded almost 3,500 music videos to YouTube.  This is such a cool move because it revives interest in a ton of bands like the Police, the Fixx, Oingo Boingo, Terri Clark, Texas, Night Ranger and a gigantic back catalog of music from the past 20 years.  The best part is that the viewers get to see a quality video instead of something dubbed from some guy's dusty VHS collection.  Now if all record labels would understand and embrace this form of free promotion, we might buy more CDs of our favorite artists.
