All Mention of Conan O'Brien Removed From NBC web site

Wow, NBC has removed every video and mention of Conan O'Brien on their web site. I was looking for schedule information but there's nothing there. Good luck to Conan, whatever channel he ends up at.

Well it looks like NBC has removed the Conan O'Brien web site and now anyone who goes there is redirected to the main NBC site. It's really sad how Conan didn't get the network support when he took over the biggest late night show in history. Jay Leno got more press and fanfare for moving to 10pm than Conan did for taking over the Tonight Show.

Unfortunately, the best and most compelling television came after the decisions had already been made and Leno, O'Brien and even Letterman were finally speaking their minds and trading some pretty serious barbs. In a year we won't remember this, Leno will probably be #1 again and we'll have to see if Fox makes a serious bid for their own late show with Conan. I hope Conan comes back soon!

New iPhone OS 3.2 Supports Video Calling?

You can never tell what changes will be included until the new iPhone/iPad OS comes out but Gizmodo says that there might be video calling and file downloads. I'm not sure what good video calling will be with the camera on the other side of my iPhone but we'll have to wait to see what they're planning. (source - Gizmodo)

Brock Lesnar appeared on ESPN this morning to announce his return to the UFC when he'll fight the winner of the upcoming fight between Frank Mir and Shane Carwin. At this point, I'd like for all three fighters to fight someone else before a heavyweight bout so they can all get rid of ring rust but I'm sure Dana would like the popularity of what should be a huge earning fight. Well, trials isn't at all about speed, it's about skill where Parkour competitors can be quite fast. Still, it's a fun video. Make this course a bit longer and you might have different results.

UFC 109 - Randy Couture vs. Mark Coleman

How should we feel about this fight of mixed martial arts legends? Clearly this fight should've happened a long, long time ago when Randy Couture and Mark Coleman were in their 30's (both are now well into their 40's) but I guess this is a "better late than never" fight. Even though it's late, I think that this might turn out to be a great fight. We rarely see two high level heavyweight wrestlers so this will be a great Greco vs. Freestyle match. Couture has always had great ring control but Coleman can shoot from far away and put people down on the mat. Come February 6, we'll see which legend will have to probably retire.
