The show opened with the contestants singing the old Gloria Estefan & The Miami Sound Machine's hit Conga.
Again Ryan broke everyone into two groups.
Group A: Fantasia Barrino, Diana DeGarmo, La Toya London
Group B: John Stevens, Jasmine Trias, George Huff
This time Group A was the highest voted trio. I guess America got a wake up call after last week. Too bad for Jennifer Hudson.
Jasmine Trias was the first to be voted safe. So this left George and John.
I predicted John. After yet another commercial break, Ryan proved me right. Even 4 million votes couldn't save the Conan O'Brien/Stan Laurel look-alike. This was the right decision. He was a good kid but he just wasn't versatile. Good luck John.
