As you can imagine, I was excited to play the sequel to my favorite game of last year.  The first Star Wars - Knights of the Old Republic game is one of the few games I've ever played where I still have great memories of events and dialogue from a game!  KOTOR2 brings more of the same. Everything you loved from the first game is in this game, only with a slightly streamlined interface.  If you played the first game, the transition will be seamless.
The game starts off many years after the events in the first game. You'll be another memory impaired jedi but in a twist, the first scene isn't played by your main character. Expect to seem some old faces from the first game surface later in the game.  Now for those who didn't play the first game, this game isn't about reflexes and finger speed. This is a role playing game with a clever turn based combat system.  When there are combat scenes, you choose how to handle your opponent(s). You can use ranged attacks like blasters or rifles or you can get down and dirty and use melee attacks like swords (and later on lightsabers).  But some of the most effective attacks are using the force. You'll be able to throw your lightsaber, use force push and many, many others!

Another feature that adds to replayability is that your actions will lean your character toward the light or dark side of the force. This will have influence on your party's characters depending on whether they are good or evil. This is also a role playing game where most of the fun is in the dialogue.  You'll have dialogue choices to make that can be sympathetic and helpful or they can be mean and selfish.  The mean ones are of course funnier but they will get you dark side points. There's really too many cool features to talk about. If it sounds good so far buy it! If you haven't played the first game, play that first.  You can get it for under $20.

Pros: Great dialogue, new enhancements to the interface, great plot, more of what made the first game great!
Cons: The graphics can get a little choppy at times, no real innovations.
